White Cliffs after the Wessons.
After the deaths of Mr. and Mrs.
Daniel Wesson in 1906, their "Cliffs" mansion underwent many changes of ownership.
It was a private residence until 1942. After that, it was opened as a private club, then a
locally famous restaurant and event facility. In this program Norm Corbin will review
its different uses and the cast of characters associated with the "Cliffs" over the years.

violence and villainy, this event is one of the most familiar incidents in American history.
With retired Justice of the Massachusetts Superior Court the Honorable Dennis J. Curran, we will
revisit this dramatic episode and the resulting trials, the competing narratives that molded public perceptions,
and the unheralded courage of one lawyer and a future president - John Adams.

an Industrial Revolution begin along the Blackstone River? What factors converged to enable
farmers, craftspeople, and other laborers to transform quiet villages into industrial giants? During
this talk, Park Ranger Allison Horrocks will describe the rise of industry, starting with Slater Mill,
located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Les Malecki will discuss men's daily
18th century colonial clothing, with an emphasis on what a Northborough militia man might have
been carrying as accoutrements when he marched to Concord on that fateful Wednesday of April
19th, 1775. He will also present a history on how of the US Flag has evolved since the American
Revolution.

Mike Sherman was
an Algonquin football player graduating in the class of 1973. His illustrious career includes
being inducted into the Algonquin Athletics Hall of Fame, followed by coaching that included
High School, College, the Canadian Football League. and the National Football League. The
coach will talk about his storied career.
